The other persons perspective

The other day I was working with a salesperson who is working with customers (and potential customers) on a project I am involved with. It was fascinating hearing some of her questions because things I thought were very obvious proved to be very confusing to her.

The easy response by me could have been “well she just doesn’t get it but she should”. The problem with this easy response is that if this one person doesn’t get it, there is a really high likelihood others wont get it either.

Too often we forget that if we see things everyday, we start to see things differently than those who see things occasionally.
