The Big Picture

It’s easy to look at the micro issues of an organization. We look at day to day situations but tend to forget how things are connected.

As an example, the sales staff focuses on sales but if they are selling something that isn’t in inventory, then they are dependent upon the manufacturing group to be able to produce in order to fulfill their sales.

Another example would be negotiating an agreement for services only to find it’s a conflict with another client.

It’s important to keep an eye on the big picture to make sure everything will work together.

Have a great day!
