Start small, plan big

It’s easy to assume your new business is going to be HUGE. Unfortunately, it rarely works that way.

Start small, set realistic goals and work to achieve them.

On the other hand, plan big. While you are starting small, plan for when things do take off and you become big.

As as example, if you are opening a store, you don’t need space the size of a WalMart and if you get that in the beginning you will be paying rent for a lot of unused space. On the other hand, plan for big so don’t sign a long term lease for space that can’t be expanded.

With a website, it’s ok to start hosting with a small account but make sure you are able to upgrade to handle large amounts of traffic when your website becomes popular. The last thing you want to do is have to take your site down because it can’t handle the type of traffic that you eventually get.

Start small but prepare for big, you will be glad you did.

Have a great day!
