Two different types of clients

I’m currently working with two different clients on projects.

One client knows what they want accomplished and then left it up to us to find the best way to do this.

The other client has given details regarding the process but seems somewhat unsure of the desired outcome.

The second client feels they are very organized by giving these details but have made numerous changes throughout the entire process and still can’t figure out the intended outcome.

The first client started with a hoped for outcome and now is far past there because we have found ways to provide exactly what they want done and much, much more.

The lesson to be learned here is concentrate on the outcome and let the process evolve. It’s much more effective than concentrating on the process and hoping the outcome is where you want to go.
