Are you sending the wrong message?

A couple of weeks ago I had a meeting at a country club in another state. I rode with someone to the club and because of the time of day, the parking lot was mostly empty. Interestingly, it made it easy to see the “pecking order” of the club. All of the closest parking spaces were reserved for employees (not counting handicapped parking). The message was quite clear. The club members were secondary to the employees. I’m not sure that was the intended message but it certainly was the message that was being sent.

Are you sending the wrong message to your customers? Are they being considered secondary to others?

Take a close look to make sure you are sending the message you want sent.
