I’m working with a client who is using technology that is extremely outdated. They are wanting a solution that will provide the newest technologies, the most up to date features etc. The problem is, to overhaul their entire system will take many months and while it has to be done the problem is the time to make the change.
The challenge is whether it’s worth it to fix the old system to make it workable while working on the major overhaul of the entire system.
Some would say the short term fix will more than pay for itself and others would argue that it’s throwing good money after bad.
There isn’t a right or wrong answer but I do believe this is applicable in many parts of life.
Have a great day!
