When giving instructions, it’s so much more effective to put them in writing, even if you want to present them verbally.

If you can write up the instructions succinctly, even if something is missed or there is confusion in the verbal instructions, it’s a lot easier to go back and review the written directions.

In the short term taking the time to write the directions clearly will take more time BUT will end up saving a lot of time and aggravation in the long run.
