Salespeople sell products and services. That is pretty easy to understand.
Other types of selling is a bit different but just as important.
Managers have to sell their ideas to their employees. Employees have to sell their ideas to their bosses. CEO’s have to sell their big ideas to their boards. Boards have to sell their ideas to investors and banks.
We are selling ourselves, our ideas and our beliefs every day. Those people who say they can’t sell don’t realize they already are doing so.
