A person has a an idea for a business and they make a half assed attempt and then quit and are able to say “well I tried, it just didn’t work”.
A person tries to make a sale by throwing up a cheap web site and then hoping someone finds it and make the purchase…when that doesn’t work they can say “I tried”.
At what point do we stop making it so easy to quit and instead make the success their only option?
In the musical Hamilton there is a line spoken by the George Washington character (I believe) where he responds to Alexander Hamilton’s statement that he is willing to die for his country. Washington said “dying is easy living is harder”. In real life, quitting is easy (and the more you do it the easier it gets) trying and succeeding is harder.
Have a great day!
