People want to go fast. They want to get things done quickly so they can move on to the next thing.
The thing to remember is you can’t sprint your way through a marathon (I read that somewhere so can’t take credit for the saying).
We have to learn to pace ourselves. We have to learn when to sprint and when to rest. We have to learn what truly is a hurry and what can be done later.
Pacing ourselves will allow us to get a lot done at the same time as allowing us to survive for tomorrow.
