Sometimes I question if people live in the real world.

If you have a product and there is a large potential market for this product, doing forecasting that assumes the majority of the market is going to want YOUR PRODUCT. Saying things such as “to be conservative let’s assume only 50% of the market will want my product” isn’t conservative and most likely isn’t realistic.

Most of the time people say “being conservative” they aren’t being conservative at all and aren’t being realistic at all.
