One of them

People work very hard to become “one of them”. Being part of the group can be reassuring and can make you feel good (so I hear).

The question is, how often does something truly significant happen by “one of them”?

Most major advances come from outliers. Nicolas Tesla, Isaac Newton, Socrates, Plato, Emily Dickenson, Marie Curie never set out to be like “one of them”. They set out to be themselves…and helped change the world.

Have a great day!
