When an organization is struggling and things are chaotic someone needs to step up and be the calming voice. Adding additional chaos to a bad situation creates more problems then solutions.
When things are going well, that is the time to be somewhat disruptive. It’s too easy to become complacent and even lackadaisical when everything seems too good.
Unfortunately too many organizations do the opposite. When things are going poorly, they add gas to the fire by shouting, trying to change too many things and becoming disruptive. When things are going well, they sit back, admire their efforts…and get left behind.
Know when to be calm and when to be disruptive.
Have a great day!
