Overcoming historical problems

People make mistakes. Overcoming those mistakes can be difficult.

It’s even more difficult to overcome other peoples mistakes. When other people have tried things in the past, and failed, you will have to overcome those mistakes as well.

As an example, when someone has failed in medical research, it’s easy to assume other similar attempts will fail as well. If you have reason to believe your methodology will succeed where others haven’t, be prepared to overcome both your own historical failings as well as EVERYONE elses.

It would be nice (sometimes) to be able to start with a blank slate but the real world doesn’t allow that to happen.

Have a great day!
