Confidence doesn’t mean confidence

Just because someone speaks with a great deal of confidence doesn’t mean they have a great deal of competence.

There is a belief that “fake it till you make it” is a good business practice. I don’t know about you but I prefer someone who either knows what they are doing or will find someone else who knows what they are doing rather someone who is trying to fake their knowledge.

It gets really scary when someone fakes it enough that they, and others, start to believe their bull shit.

Next time you think “fake it till you make it” is a good business practice, think about having a heart problem, do you want a board certified cardiologist reading your EKG or some random person who thinks they know what they are doing?

Have a great day!
