Karl Weick

Karl Weick (organizational theorist) wrote “Argue like you’re right and listen like you’re wrong”

If you truly believe in something, be willing to take a stance and be willing argue with all of your conviction.

When you are listening, truly focus and listen to every word spoken as if it could change your world. It’s so easy to listen halfheartedly and be focused more on the response (so you can prove you are correct) but if you listen like you’re wrong, you will be focused on learning and getting the correct information.

Have a great day!
