Unappreciated

Doctors go to medical school, then residency and sometimes a fellowship so they are entitled to high pay.

Lawyers spend three years in law school and put in long hours so they are entitled to high pay.

Teachers go through specific training and then affect the future of many people so they are entitled to high pay.

Plumbers go through apprenticeships and have a specialty that enables them to fix things most of us have no clue how to do (and many of us aren’t willing to do) so they are entitled to high pay.

Roofers work extremely hard in extreme heat and cold so they are entitled to high pay.

It’s easy to assume that whatever we do is more difficult, more important and is worth more then others but that would be foolish to think that way.

Unfortunately, not everyone is compensated appropriately for what they do.

Have a great day!
