Stopping problems early

When a rock slowly starts to move downhill, that is the easiest time to stop it’s descent. Once it has picked up momentum, it becomes more and more difficult to stop.

Issues with work are the same way. If you can stop it early, it’s not too difficult but once they have picked up momentum they become very difficult to prevent.

Some people get offended by micromanagement and say that their managers should give them more freedom but the reality is, if problems aren’t identified early and dealt with as soon as possible, bad things can happen.

Have a great day!
