There are people complaining about the parking issues here in downtown Charleston. Everything from not enough downtown parking to the meters allowing people to only park for an hour to the parking attendants being too strict with enforcement.
I don’t know who is responsible for much of the decisions but the people who are enforcing the laws are NOT the ones to blame.
The people who are enforcing the laws are simply the ones doing their jobs. They don’t decide where to place the meters, they don’t pick the type of meters nor do they make the laws.
If they are ticketing people who have violated the law, they are simply doing their jobs. You don’t have to like the laws they are enforcing but you have to understand they have a job to do.
If you don’t like the laws, talk to the people who make the laws, not the people who enforce them.
Have a great day!
