Doing things you don’t know

Trying to do thing you don’t know doesn’t make sense. A doctor trying to create a software program for business applications might not make sense. A realtor trying to cure the common cold might not make sense.

On the other hand, using what you do know and helping to apply it in other fields makes a lot of sense. A realtor might not know how to conduct medical research but might know marketing that could help get the research advanced. The doctor might not know much about programming but might not only about the type of data that would be useful.

While you don’t want to focus on doing things you don’t know, you should be willing to focus on your strengths as applied to other industries.

Have a great day!
