It’s easy to want to modify things for certain customers. We can change one thing to make customer A happy. We can change something else to make customer B happy. We can change a policy to fit customer C.
While it’s nice to try to be accommodating, we have to be careful of losing our identity or losing our focus by focusing too much on the individual situations and losing sight on the big picture.
Trying to cater to everyone might result in creating a huge mess that, in the long run, doesn’t benefit anyone.
