When coming out with a new product, service or offering you might want to consider the different phases of testing.
The first phase is to determine whether the product, service or offering does any damage. If it’s a software program does it damage the computer? Does it damage the data? Does it damage the integrity of what you are doing?
If the first phase is successful, the next phase is to determine whether it works. Does it do what it’s supposed to do?
If the second phase of testing is successful, the next phase is to determine whether it works better than what is already out there.
If all three phases are successful then you might have a success. If you don’t test through the process of testing through the three phases and have positive results in each phase, you really aren’t doing adequate testing at all.
Have a great day!
