Having a solid business plan is important for a business to be successful. Being willing to overcome bumps in the road is important as too many people quit once they come across the first roadblock.

However, it’s also important to be able to pivot when the opportunity calls for it.

An example of this would be a software company that creates an application they want to sell and then realize they can pivot and use their own application for consulting purposes and make a great deal more money.

Or, the owner of a golf course who pivots and realizes they can maximize his return by using the real estate for another purpose.

Knowing when to pivot, when to stay the course and when to do something else is very difficult but also it’s sometimes what separates the successful companies from the others.

Have a great day!
