Frequently we look at things where 1+1=3. In other words, the sum is greater than the individual parts.
The flip side is to look to see where the individual parts are worth more than the sum. As an example, is there some part of your business which can be sold or licensed separately to increase the value? A restaurant owner might have an ingredient that they use and have developed and it’s possible they could sell the ingredient as a new revenue source.
