The other day I watched a documentary about Costco and it was interesting to see their approach on options provided. Rather than try to offer as many options as possible, their research shows that too many options simply confuse the customer and might result in the loss of sales.
Costco would rather offer a couple of great options within a specific product line than many more which might result in fewer sales.
