Taking advantage of what you do better

Yesterdays post asked “what makes you better?”

Today is a follow up to that post. If you know the one thing that makes your business or organization better, is there something else that could be done with that one thing to benefit you?

As an example, if you are a marketing agency and the thing you do better than your competition is graphic design, what else can you do with your graphic design to help grow your business? Could you offer just graphic design services through to another market? Could you teach classes in graphic design as a side business?

When you have a specialty, try to find other ways to take advantage of that specialty. Too often, we lose out on opportunities because we try to do things we aren’t good at and don’t do the things we are good at.
