Credit but no responsibility

Too many people want to take credit for things. When something goes right they are front and center. It’s important that they are “in the picture” to make sure everyone knows they deserve the credit.

The question is, where are they for the heavy lifting? When the hard work is being done (which is needed in order for there to be credit) are they front and center then? Also, are they there when things go wrong? Are they taking responsibility for the failure or are they looking to place blame elsewhere?

It’s easy to take the credit for a success but be willing to put in the time and effort that is needed to be successful and be willing to take the blame when things don’t work.

Great leaders tend to accept the blame and give the credit elsewhere

Have a great day!
