Assuming everyone is like you

Yesterday I received a phone call, on my office number, from a parent of a soccer player I used to coach. He wanted to make sure I received the pictures he texted me of his sons new baby.

The problem was he texted them to a landline. He assumed that because his primary phone is a cell phone, everyone was the same way.

It’s important to not assume that because you do something, everyone does the same.

Luckily, in this case, he followed up his text with a phone call and has since sent the pictures another way.

Have a great day!
