When designing things, is it better to add as many features as possible or is it better to remove all features that you can and still be effective?
So may times we tend to complicate matters by adding “yet another feature” or “yet another method” and in doing that we take a simple to use process and make it difficult.
Instead of looking to add more features, would we be better off removing features that don’t add anything to our offering?
When writing this, I’m thinking about software programs but this could just as easily be true for restaurant menu’s, store offerings, organizational offerings etc.
Look to remove things that aren’t needed before even considering adding new things.
Have a great day!
