Pretending things are perfect

Some small companies like to pretend things are perfect even when they aren’t. It’s all part of the “fake it till you make it concept”.

There are a number of problems with this concept.

First, you are lying and as soon as people figure it out (and they will) you lose all credibility.

Second, many people LIKE to help companies that are struggling. They remember when they were struggling and remember people helped them so they will reach out to those in need…and since you are pretending to be doing great, you lose their help

Third, with all of the effort you spend pretending to do great, you could go out and do something truly great.

People should stop pretending and start doing

Have a great day!
