Many of us cherish our privacy. We know that if we were to publish our social security number, date of birth, name and mailing address to the general public than we would be opening ourselves up to some serious risks (credit and identity fraud etc).

If you have an organization that takes applications (job applications, school applications etc) and you gather that type of information, do you apply the same safeguards for others that you would want done for yourself? Do you send information using email that if hacked (or sent to the wrong address) would be a problem? Do you leave information on your desk that anyone could see? Do you expose other peoples information to risks you wouldn’t want done to your own?

Treat other peoples information the way you would want your information treated. It’s the right thing to do

Have a great day!
