I have received some emails with some “cool pictures” of the storm in the north east. The problem with these “cool pictures” is it makes it real easy to forget that these are more than pictures, these are real deaths. It’s amazing to see a house that has been completely moved. it’s even more amazing to think that someone lives in that house. Someone’s possessions are in that house. Someone might have died in that house.
While writing this Tuesday afternoon, there currently is a little bit of snow on the ground here in Charleston WV and a lot of people have lost their power but compared to what others are going through, this is pretty minor.
When reading about what is happening in this storm (or in other natural and unnatural disasters around the world) don’t forget these are real people dealing with real problems and it’s more than just text on paper or on a monitor
Have a great day!
