One of the “sayings” coaches like to use is “no pain, no gain”. This is said to encourage players to work harder even when they are tired, sore or ready to quit.
The thing to think about is just how much pain are you willing to endure? Does it depend upon the potential reward? Might you be willing to put up with more to win a national championship as opposed to a local competition?
Another thing to factor in is whether it’s pain you are dealing with or real injury. It’s one thing to fight through pain but are you really willing to suffer irreperable damage in order to potentially accomplish your goal?
These are the type of things you must take into consideration rather than simply stating “no pain, no gain”.
Just something to think about
Have a great day!
