Calculations can add up real quickly but if the basic premise isn’t correct (in the above example, 2+2=5) the rest of the calculations are useless

Make sure your basic premise is correct before continueing on with any type of extrapolation.

This might seem like a simple piece of advice but you would be surprised to see how many businesses fail because their basic premise was incorrect
